An Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council has been arranged for Wednesday 24th August at 6.30pm in Bury Village Hall, when Victoria Holland Architects will present their design proposals for the refurbishment and restructure of Bury village hall. Members of the public are of course welcome to attend. The Council will be discussing the architect’s plans, and should they approve them, the Council will then vote on a proposal to mount a full consultation process within the parish, involving newsletters, leaflets, display boards, meetings, online resources and social media, including proposals to raise the funds, to demonstrate the advantages of the scheme and gain community backing, before making a planning application for the changes.
