On 9th October, the Parish Council considered a revised draft of the Parish Priority Statement following a consultation with residents. The consultation included a well-publicised online survey and two face-to-face meetings where parishioners were able to discuss the PPS with Councillors. For anyone who needed assistance in filling in the online survey, it was made available at the meetings. Overall, 75% of respondents agreed with the statement. However, the Council reviewed all the comments made by residents and made some changes based on common themes. The Council voted to approve the revised statement and submit it to the SDNPA. Please note that the Council will not be publishing comments from residents as this is not common practice at any level of government following a public consultation.
