Lockdown libraries

In accordance with Lockdown rules, West Sussex Libraries are closed for browsing and cannot currently offer public computer use, printing, photocopying or fax facilities. However, books can be ordered for collection from and returned to the door – and the online service offers a wealth of material such as eBooks and eMagazines, virtual story times and rhyme times for children, local history and links to useful information and other services. For more details, please see here.

Libraries in lockdown

All libraries have to close for browsing but can remain open to provide access to IT and digital services – for example for people who do not have such facilities at home – and they can offer a select and collect service for library books. We expect to receive news of how the West Sussex Library Service intend to operate under the latest restrictions and will advise you further on this shortly.

Libraries winter opening times

All libraries across West Sussex are now operating revised winter opening hours. This will see an extension of the current opening hours as well as offering more opportunities for browsing, using computers and study space (where available).

Libraries in the largest communities will be open throughout the day, including over lunchtime for working customers. Families will also be able to visit after school and every library will be open on a Saturday for part or all of the day.

The new opening hours at Pulborough Library are:
Wednesday 1.00pm – 5.00pm
Friday 9.00am – 1.00pm
Saturday 9.00am – 1.00pm
