Public Meeting on Village Hall Plans Postponed

In recent weeks, Bury Parish Council has begun a public consultation process over its plans for a reimagined Bury Village Hall. Leaflets have been delivered to homes throughout the parish detailing the proposals and inviting feedback.

This process has produced some excellent contributions from the community, with observations and ideas that merit further exploration. It has been decided therefore to delay the public meeting originally planned for December 8 until the spring in order to explore these ideas through wider discussions. The drop-in ‘clinic’ on the following Saturday morning has also been postponed. We’ll post the new dates as soon as we have them.

Meanwhile, if you have any thoughts or comments to make on the proposals or you did not received a copy of the leaflet, please email clerk@buryparishcouncil.org.uk

If you would like to show your support for the project in principle, please return the slip in your leaflet or fill in this short form online. This is very important, as fundraising can only be successful if we can demonstrate strong community support for the project.

You can also download a PDF of the leaflet, and here you can see the full file of plans and elevations by Victoria Holland Architects, who were commissioned to do the work by Bury Parish Council.
