Following the abrupt closure of the Post Office in Sandham Hall last September, Coldwaltham Parish Council and local residents have made great efforts to persuade Post Office Limited to consider its re-opening. Proposals made to POL to introduce a six-month trial to test whether a three mornings per week service would be viable have been rejected – instead POL have offered a two hours per week service from 9,30am to 11.30am on Thursdays.
