Despite Mother Nature not having been particularly kind to gardeners in recent weeks, The Bury, West Burton and District Horticultural Society attracted a very satisfactory number of entries to the flower show held in Bury Village Hall on Saturday July 15th. In addition to the usual horticultural exhibits, there were sections on cookery, handicrafts, flower arranging, art and photography plus children’s exhibits, all of which were admired by visitors to the show at the afternoon viewing and prize-giving session.
