The Bury Players have announced that after 44 happy years they are now disbanding, as a consequence of which they will be dispersing their equipment and goods at an event to be held in Bury Village Hall on Saturday 15th October from 1pm to 3pm.
On offer will be various items such as canvas and wood flats, paints, brushes, curtains, furniture, props, costumes/vintage clothing etc. Entry is free and so are the items being given away, but donations will be welcomed with all proceeds being shared between Bury Village Hall and Bury C of E (aided) Primary School.
So we say a sad farewell to the Players and thank them most sincerely for the magnificent efforts they have made in entertaining parishioners with all their productions since 1978, a full list of which can be found here.
