Last summer local BBC radio stations ran a campaign to help members of the public to donate old laptops and tablets for use by schoolchildren who did not have access to such devices but were sharing phones at home while learning during lockdown. With schools now closed again, the BBC are asking people to help those pupils still in need. More information in the form of a BBC video clip can be seen here.
