This makes clear that the decision concerning the reduction in the speed limit applied for under the Community Highways Scheme proposal is still awaited from WSCC Highways department. We expect an update sometime in the new year.
In addition, the initiative to install average speed cameras on Bury Hill A29 remains a key element of the many measures that our hard working Bury A29 Road Improvement Committee are busy campaigning for. BPC wishes to thank the A29 RIC for their ongoing contribution to making environmental and safety improvements to our Parish.
