Judith Daykin, Chair of the Bury & West Burton Volunteers, said, “In follow-up to last week’s message about Bury Fete, we are now able to announce that the final total raised was approximately £8,273.00 for the Arun Churches. This was due to the hard work of so many people before, during and after the actual day and also to the generosity of those who donated prize money, plants, cakes, clothes, books, bric-a-brac items etc. etc. and of course, their time, to make it such a success. Once again, thank you all!”
And we’d like to thank Judith for the immense amount of work and effort she put in, to make the fete such a success! As Jane Bellinger put it, “Actually Judith I think that it is you who deserve the praise, you do a truly WONDERFUL job getting us all organised, thank you.“
