West Burton Road closure – Bury Parish Council

West Sussex County Council has given notice of a temporary closure to all traffic on West Burton Road for a distance of approximately 1322 metres commencing on13th December 2021 for a maximum of 21 days. The road closure is required to remove trees with ash die back between the junctions with Waters Lane to Back Lane. The restriction will be in place 24hrs a day. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. Bury Parish Council has been informed by the contractors that, although the closure notice is valid for a period of 21 days, they anticipate all works being completed during week commencing the 13^th with a second week as a back-up to ensure they have cover in the event of any machine breakdowns or unexpected complications that delay the works.
