Local elections tomorrow, 4th May

The Chichester District and Parish Elections will take place tomorrow and the polling station at Bury Village Hall will be open from 7am until 10pm. Please remember that you will need to show photographic ID to vote. Accepted forms of ID include a UK, European Economic Area (EEA) or a Commonwealth passport; a UK or EEA drivers’ licence; and some concessionary travel passes, such as an older person’s bus pass or an Oyster 60+ card. The full list can be found on the Electoral Commission website: www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter/voter-id. Voters will be able to used expired ID if they are still recognisable from the photo.

The count will take place on Friday (5 May) and the first results are expected to start coming through around midday. CDC will be posting the results on their Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as their website.
