Bury, West Burton and District Horticultural Society have announced with regret that a decision has been made to cancel their Autumn Flower Show, which had been planned for 10th September. Having spoken to several villages and indeed looking at committee members’ own gardens, it seemed clear that the show would fall so short of normal standards that it would only prove be a disappointment.
The society hopes that the weather will be kinder next year and that they will be able, once again, to put on a show and in the meantime, the society looks forward to seeing you on Saturday 1st October when they host the coffee morning in conjunction with a plant sale.
