This year’s Annual General Meeting for the Bury, West Burton & District Horticultural Society will be held on Wednesday 2nd November in Bury Village Hall (The Sydney Room) commencing at 7.30pm. This will be quite a decisive meeting as we need to discuss the future of the Society and whether to hold one instead of two shows a year. We would love to welcome any newer residents to the village who may be interested in gardening, if you just want to come along, have a glass of wine and see what we do. There are no membership fees; the Society exists for villagers to enjoy exhibiting at the shows and contributing their plants on occasions such as our coffee morning. The Society has been in existence since at least as early as the 1930s and we want to keep it going.
