Dog fouling – life-threatening to livestock – a message from local farmers.

The Parish Council would like to remind dog owners that they should be picking up after their dogs not only when walking on public roads but also when walking in fields. Dog mess is dangerous and a health hazard not just to humans – our local farmers have asked us to remind parishioners that dog faeces left in fields also causes disease in livestock which can result in the death of sheep and cause cattle to miscarry.

So please pick up after your dog at all times and deposit the bag in your black bin or one of the public bins provided by the parish council.
