After months of campaigning and negotiations with Post Office Limited (POL) following the abrupt closure of the Post Office last September, Coldwaltham Parish Council and Village Hall Committee have advised us that the Post Office re-opened on Monday 24th June and will run on Mondays and Thursdays from 9am to 12 noon. (But please note it will be closed on election day Thursday 4th July as Sandham Hall will be used as a polling station that day).
This re-opening is on a trial basis until December 2024 and continued operation after that will depend on the level of use by the community.
Bury Post Office will continue as normal every Friday from 1.15pm to 3.15pm. Tracy will be running the Coldwaltham Post Office as well as Bury.
