The Bury, West Burton & District Horticultural Society decided to close after almost 100 years in the village. As part of their distribution of assets, we are delighted to report that the Society have donated and installed a second new bench at Bury Wharf to accompany the one donated by them at the beginning of November. This will now enable more parishioners and visitors to sit and rest a while in even greater comfort to enjoy the views at this most beautiful location. We extend our thanks to the Society for their generous donation of these benches which will be of significant value to parishioners and visitors alike and also serve as a permanent reminder of the Society and the part it played within the community for almost a century.
