Just a reminder that you will need to show photographic ID to vote at the local elections on 4th May. Accepted forms of ID include a UK, European Economic Area (EEA) or Commonwealth passport; a UK or EEA drivers’ licence; and, some concessionary travel passes, such as an older person’s bus pass or an Oyster 60+ card. If you don’t have any of the accepted forms of ID, the deadline to apply is next Tuesday 25 April at 5pm. Visit: www.gov.uk/apply-for-
If you need someone to vote on your behalf, there is still time to apply for a proxy vote. The deadline is 5pm on 25 April and you can download a form at www.electoralcommission.org.
The polling station will be at the village hall and open from 7am-10pm.
