You may have noticed a new fence across the usual footpath to Bury Green behind the Village Hall which appears to block the way in. This has been done to prevent any accidents as we have discovered a few loose tiles on the north-facing roof of the Hall which may fall on to the footpath. Access is still possible to the Green and playground along the vehicular access drive on the left-hand side of the hedge, and although the large gate at the far end remains locked, the fence has been adjusted so you can still enter the Green.
