2 community events to conclude village hall consultation

Dates for your diary:

29/03/23, 5:30pm – 8:30pm

01/04/23, 10:30am – 1pm

Bury Parish Council is pleased to announce two events to conclude our consultation process on our exciting plans to refurbish Bury Village Hall and create a new social hub at the heart of our community.

First there will be a drop-in evening at the village hall on Wednesday 29th March from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, when parishioners are invited to call in whenever suits them. Wine and refreshments will be available and residents will be able to view the revised drawings for our village hall plans, reflecting the changes that have been made as a result of our consultation process. Members of the parish council will be there to answer your questions.

The following Saturday, 1st April, from 10.30am until 1pm, there will be a second drop-in event at the village hall, coinciding with the monthly village coffee morning. So, you can enjoy this regular social occasion, with coffee and delicious cakes on offer for just £1, and also make time to browse the village hall drawings and discuss the project further with councillors.

If you haven’t already cast your vote to indicate your backing for this important project, both of these events represent a great opportunity to chat about the plans in a relaxed atmosphere among friends and neighbours. There will be voting slips on hand so you can make that vital statement of support.

And even if you have already voted, come and see how the plans have evolved and hear how we hope to move the project forward.

We are really looking forward to seeing you at at least one of those two events – come along to both if you would like, we’d love to see you! – and we very much hope we can count on your support for what would be a pivitol project for our community.

Meanwhile, if you have any thoughts or comments to make on the proposals or you did not receive a copy of our leaflet, please email clerk@buryparishcouncil.org.uk.
