Coronavirus update

WE’RE MOVING TO TIER 4

As a result of the rapidly increasing rate of Coronavirus infections, WEST SUSSEX WILL MOVE TO TIER 4 STAY AT HOME RESTRICTIONS AT 00.01 GMT ON SATURDAY 26th DECEMBER. The Christmas Bubble arrangements enabling three households to get together on Christmas Day still apply.

TIER 4 STAY AT HOME RULES
If you live in Tier 4 you should not leave or be outside of your home or garden unless you have a reasonable excuse such as for work purposes, education, shopping for essential goods, medical reasons, attending a place of worship etc. You must not meet socially with anyone except members of you own household and support bubble. You can continue to do unlimited exercise alone, or in a public outdoor space with members of your household or support bubble, or with one other person if you maintain social distancing.

Non-essential retail outlets, pubs, restaurants cafes, hospitality venues, leisure centres, entertainment venues, personal care facilities (e.g. hairdressers) will all have to close although click and collect and takeaway services where appropriate can still be provided.

We recommend that for further information you read the Government guidance on Tier 4 restrictions which can be found here: – https://www.gov.uk/guidance/tier-4-stay-at-home

Further details will follow after the Christmas period.
