A number of Bury parishioners gathered at the Squire and Horse on the evening of Thursday 9th May for a Meet Your MP session with Andrew Griffith. Discussions were held on a number of issues of local concern or interest, including anti-social road use, the number of potholes on major and local roads, the state of the rivers (overflows, sewage, run-off from fields etc.), the effects of climate change and development issues.
At the conclusion of the session, Andrew was thanked for his efforts in assisting with the implementation of full-fibre broadband within the parish and for campaigning to arrange for all Southern Region train services to make a stop at Amberley.
