Southern Water: Drought Plan

Southern Water have announced the launch of a consultation on their draft Drought Plan, which is expected to be published next year.

This drought plan sets out the actions they will take to save and produce more water during droughts so they can continue to supply enough for life’s essentials. Planning to tackle droughts is an important part of Southern Water’s work to make sure there is always reliable water for homes, businesses and in the environment.

This is an opportunity to help shape this important plan and Southern Water are inviting us to have our say and to find out more details about the plan so please visit: Drought consultation (southernwater.co.uk)

The deadline to respond to the new draft drought plan is August 2 and Southern Water aim to publish the feedback results in September.

There is also a link to register attendance for a webinar being staged on the plans below and nearer the time, a Microsoft Teams invite will be sent to attendees – please see here: –
