SDNP Local Plan Review – Public Consultation Open between 20th January – 17th March 2025

The evidence base contains ‘sites’ that have been through the SDNP Land Availability Assessment process (LAA), with one such site listed as ‘Having Potential’ in Bury:

On the same page you can view quite a number of sites that were considered by SDNP in Bury, appearing in appendix C and D, which were either excluded or rejected.

Members of Bury Parish Council have been invited to attend a briefing by SDNP on two key documents:

  • Partnership Management Plan engagement
  • Local Plan Review Regulation 18 Consultation

Once our colleagues have had a chance to share what they have learned at the SDNP briefing session, BPC as a stakeholder will discuss how to respond. Following this, BPC will bring updates to Parish Council Meetings and communicate the same via the usual channels.

Chichester District Council Housing Survey

Chichester District Council are conducting a housing survey, which goes live between 20th January and 3rd March. The survey will seek the views of residents on CDC’s new draft housing strategy, which can be accessed via the link below, together with the housing survey.


The document sets out the ways in which CDC aims to help improve the quality, supply and affordability of homes in the district and the services they provide to those who find themselves facing homelessness. The strategy relates to all types of homes, including social housing, the private rented sector and owner-occupied homes. https://letstalk.chichester.gov.uk/
