A27 ARUNDEL BYPASS
As you may have read, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced upon taking office that the A27 Arundel Bypass Scheme (which back in March had been deferred to the next Roads Investment Period covering 2025 to 2030) would not now be taken forward. Here is the update from National Highways confirming the closure plans.
LOCAL ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
Despite the disappointment of the Arundel bypass cancellation, other road projects that will make travel to Littlehampton and Bognor easier in future are already or will shortly be under construction – the Lyminster Bypass and the A29 Realignment Scheme.
