PARISH COUNCILLOR VACANCY

Bury Parish Council’s primary objective is to work in the interest of residents and protect the identity and character of the parish for the enjoyment of parishioners, visitors and future generations.  The Council currently consists of eight committed volunteers and is looking for one more councillor to work in partnership with local organisations and County and District Councils to preserve the essence of the area.  Bury Parish lies within the South Downs National Park and includes the village of Bury, the largest settlement in the Parish, the hamlet of West Burton, Bury Common and Bury Gate. It is a relatively small Parish with a resident population of approximately 650.
