For the second year running our thanks go to Joseph and JoJo Godfrey for the wonderful Christmas tree outside the village hall. This tradition was started last year as a reminder of us being a community and although we were not allowed to get together, many of us walked past the tree and enjoyed the decorations, as well as seeing the welcoming lights twinkling as we went by. This year’s tree is now lit in time to welcome parishioners to the next social event run by the Bury and West Burton Volunteers on 16th December. Additional thanks go to Andrew Aldridge for his contribution of extra lights and to Chris Daykin and Colin Coombes for braving the ladder to decorate the tree.
