The monthly coffee mornings held in Bury Village Hall had to be suspended in March 2020 in accordance with the Covid-19 restrictions introduced at that time. So far, none of the easement measures under the Roadmap have enabled social gatherings of this type to be staged again and, as things stand, we will have to wait at least until Step 4 scheduled for 21st June before a return of our get-togethers could be contemplated – and even then, Government ministers appear not to be completely ruling out the continuation of at least some ongoing Covid-19 Secure measures which might not enable us to meet socially in quite the same way as previously.
Our coffee mornings will resume, hopefully by August or September – the organisers are keen to continue and when the situation becomes clearer we can begin to muster our willing helpers and open our doors once more!
