Meeting people from outside your household

A few parishioners have asked for some clarification of the guidelines on meeting with people you do not live with. Basically, there are three types of groups as follows: –

  • In any outdoor space you can meet in a group of up to 6 people from different households
  • Single adult households (adults who live alone or with dependent children only) can form an exclusive “support bubble” with one other household
  • You can meet in a group of 2 households (anyone in a support bubble counts as one household) in any location, public or private, indoors or outdoors. This does not need to be the same household each time.

Please note that at all times – indoors or outdoors – you should observe social distancing from people you do not live with and only have close contact with people outside of your household if you are in a support bubble with them.  Even inside someone’s home you should socially distance from anyone not in your household or bubble.
