Vaccination Update
As at 5th April, 52,837,997 people had received a first dose of a coronavirus vaccine (91.9% of the population aged 12 and over) and 49,488,462 people both doses (86.1%). A total of 38,881,391 people had received a booster (third) jab (67.6%). Spring boosters (4th jab) are now being rolled out to those eligible – i.e. people aged 75 years old and over, plus people aged 12 years old and over with a weakened immune system.

Withdrawal of Free Tests from 1st April
Free lateral flow and PCR tests for the general public ceased to be available from 1st April although certain people will be exempt from paying for their tests – i.e. mostly vulnerable people, including those in high-risk jobs and with health conditions. Finding a Private Coronavirus Test Provider
The government are providing a list of private test providers which is regularly updated. For further details please see here.

NHS Covid Pass
Updated guidance has been published on how to use the NHS COVID pass to demonstrate coronavirus staus when travelling abroad or when visiting venues or events in the UK where it is still required as a condition of entry ( although the government no longer encourage high-risk events and venues to check COVID status). Please note that the NHS COVID Pass letter is no longer available for domestic use. For full details please see here.
