National Vaccination Update
A total of 65 million doses of a Coronavirus vaccine have now been administered. More than 39.5 million people have had their first dose and over 25.5 million their second.
On 28th May, the COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen was given regulatory approval by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). This is the fourth COVID-19 vaccine to be authorised by the UK’s independent regulator and is the first to be approved for protection against COVID-19 with a single dose.
