The Coffee Morning and Plant Sale hosted by the Horticultural Society on 7th May was a huge success with very strong attendance numbers enjoying the usual coffee and splendid array of cakes, combined with the opportunity to pick up many bargain plants for flower beds and vegetable plots alike.
Happily, we have now been able to stage our coffee mornings on a regular monthly basis once more – however, having said that, there will not be a Coffee Morning in June in view of the many other events taking place over the Platinum Jubilee period, including of course The Bury and West Burton Platinum Jubilee Picnic on Sunday 5th June on Bury Green from 12.30pm onwards.
Consequently please note that our next Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday 2nd July, which, weather permitting, will be held in Estelle and Ray Weatherley’s garden at Robin Hill, London Road, Bury from 10.30am (if wet then in Bury Village Hall!).
