The following is a message from the Bury Fete Committee which appears in this month’s edition of The Link: –
Bury Fete 31st July 2021
The Fete Committee had a meeting in April to decide whether Bury Fete could go ahead or not this year. We are sorry, but have decided that it will not be possible for us to put on a Fete like we have in the past, as we feel that many people will not be wanting to gather in large numbers, and it may still not be allowed under Government guidelines.
We hope to be able to host an ‘Afternoon Tea’ event instead of the Fete, with possibly a few stalls, in the grounds of Dorset House School on Saturday 31st July 2021 from 2pm to 5pm, to give our local communities an opportunity to come together in smaller groups.
