Bury Fete Report

The Bury Fete returned on Saturday July 30th at Dorset House School, Bury, for the first time since Covid restrictions lifted. It was, as always, a great success. Petworth Band provided the entertainment from the amphitheatre, whilst over 400 people browsed the cakes, books, bric-a-brac, boutique and other stalls as well as enjoying barbecue burgers or hot dogs and tea and cakes, possibly accompanied by a drink from the bar! The final total of funds raised, which are to be given to the Arun Churches, are being counted and will be announced shortly but the total is likely to exceed £6,000.

Thank you to all those who helped to make it a success and to all those who joined us for the fun.
