The new trial system requiring residents to use a booking service to visit certain Household Waste Recycling Sites in West Sussex became operative from 29th March. West Sussex County Council report that some sites have experienced a surge in visitors at the start of booking slots and are reminding residents that they can arrive at any time during their booking slot period – there is no need to arrive at the start. Residents are also reminded that while the majority of sites have 30-minute booking slots, the sites at Bognor Regis and Shoreham operate a 15-minute slot.
