West Sussex County Council are seeking views from residents as to whether the trial booking system which has been in place at Bognor Regis, Crawley, Littlehampton, Shoreham and Worthing recycling centres since April 2021 should be made permanent. Waiting times and disruption has greatly reduced during the trials with over 410,000 people pre-booking a slot since they began.
A public consultation has now been launched to seek views on this – and possibly extending the booking system to include the Burgess Hill recycling centre. To have your say on the booking system, please visit the WSCC website which can be accessed here.
