Bury, West Burton & District Horticultural Society are staging a rose growing talk in Bury Village Hall on Monday 23rd May. The speaker will be Elizabeth Sawday of Apuldram Roses who grow 35,000 roses incorporating 200 plus varieties. Elizabeth says “my mission is to take away the mysteries of rose growing, to persuade you it’s not all hard work and to leave you feeling far more confident about planting and growing roses in your own gardens”.
The talk commences at 7pm (doors open from 6.30pm) and admission is £4.00 to include a glass of wine or soft drink.
