St. Giles, Coldwaltham – Sunday 10th November
The Reverend Jack Mulder will lead the Annual Remembrance Day Service at St.Giles commencing at 10.30am. attended by the Scouts and Cubs. Coffee will be served after the service.
St John’s, Bury – Monday 11th November
There will be an Act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph at St John’s from 10.45am. This service will be led by Fr Russell Dewhurst and the pupils of Bury School, Dorset House School and St James School, Coldwaltham who will read the Rolls of Honour and poems and lay wreaths. In addition, ten uniformed soldiers from 12th Regiment, Royal Artillery based at Thorney Island will be present which will give the service added focus and poignancy.
