Please note that West Sussex County Council will shortly make a temporary Traffic Regulation Order that will close the A29 Fairmile Bottom in the parishes of Madehurst and Houghton, from its northern junction with Madehurst Road to its southern junction with Madehurst Road. This restriction will operate overnight only, between 8pm and 6am the following morning.
The road closure is needed to allow tree surgery works to be carried out in safety. The Order is expected to come into effect at 8pm on 7 September 2020 and end at 6am on 12 September 2020. While the Order is in effect alternative routes for traffic will be signed on site and access to affected properties will be maintained at all times.
